WHITEFISH CHAIN YACHT CLUB ANNOUNCES 2023 EVENTS With the mission of Safety on the Water, WCYC will be sponsoring a series of activities beginning this month. Youth Boating Safety classes in conjunction with the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Water Patrol for youth ages 12-17 held at orbaz in Crosslake. June 6 & July 13 (Please note July class date change.) Youth Water Safety/Swimming Classes - FREE Held at Army Corp of Engineers Campground in Crosslake Sessions: July 10-14, July 17-21, July 24-28 Women at the Helm class is for women who would like to get more comfortable at the helm of their boats with instructors Jonny and Jody Wallin at Bertha Boatworks. June 15 & July 14 WCYC is also a proud sponsor of the Antique and Classic Wood Boat Rendezvous at Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant on June 17. Cardboard Boat Races - Cheer on teams as they try to paddle their homemade cardboard boats around the buoys in Moonlite Bay on August 12. Members: Join us on June 10 at Riverside Inn in Crosslake for our spring member dinner. The location and date for the fall dinner to be announced at a later date.
