City of WALKER ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK-TREASURER The City of Walker is accepting applications for the position of Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer. The City Administrator will oversee the day to day operations of the City departments and provide leadership and direction in the development of goals for the City to ensure efficient and effective implementation of municipal services and related work as apparent or assigned. Identify opportunities for commercial and residential development, proactively engage with the community and maintain excellent communication with the Mayor and City Council while working under their direction. This position requires a Bachelor's degree with coursework in public administration, accounting or business & four years experience in public sector management. May substitute work in a re- lated field with extensive experience in public administration leadership capacity or equivalent combination of education & experience. A valid drivers license is also required. Applications will be accepted until Friday, May 1, 2020, at 1PM. Salary: $70,000 or DOQ.
