seeking County Engineer Raseau County MINNESOTA This is a Full time benefited, exempt position. Salary is negotiable & commensurate with experience level. Requires a bachelor's degree in civil or highway engineering plus current professional engineering registration as a Civil or Highway Engineer in the state of Minnesota (P.E. designation), or equivalent, plus 6-8 years of recent progressive highway engineering experience, the 2 most recent years in a senior administrative/supervisory position. Applicant should have knowledge of the engineering principles for highway, bridge, & hydraulic design; principles, practices, & procedures of highway equipment & maintenance; surveying methods & techniques; road construction methods & materials; techniques for the construction & maintenance of ditch systems, traffic control systems & devices; laws, rules, & regulations relating to highway, bridge, & ditch systems design, construction, & maintenance, land acquisition, project documentation, & traffic control. In addition, applicant should have knowledge of Federal and State funding programs and methods of obtaining project funding and approvals.
