The Sherwood Forest location has a rich history in nearly 100 years of operation. Sherwood was built in the 1930s when a log shipment meant for Duluth was abandoned at a lakes area warehouse. Those logs found a new destiny as the Sherwood Forest Lodge and the surrounding cabins. Today, the building and surrounding grounds retain their sense of wonder and opportunity. Large logs surround the interior, complemented by some modern updates to the bar, dining room, patio, tables, and decor.
