Kathy Lange lives with her family in Little Falls, Minnesota. She felt compelled to write her first book experiencing the tragic story of her neighbor’s burglaries resulting in the death of teens due to the rippling effects of drug addiction. Kathy has worked in health care fund and program development for over 20 years organizing fund-raisers and writing successful grants. She has co-authored an article on the opioid epidemic in the American Journal of Public Health, led a community drug abuse task force and the writing of a soon-to-be released chapter on the opioid epidemic for the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy.
