Scandia Valley Township is a small rural community located in the Northwest corner of Morrison County, Minnesota, roughly 20 miles northwest of Little Falls. The area was first settled in 1893, and Scandia Valley was officially organized as a township by the Morrison County Board of Commissioners in 1893. Our residents enjoy the benefits of a rural lifestyle within the beautiful Lincoln Lakes Area. Larger area lakes include Lake Alexander, Lake Shamineau, and Fish Trap Lake. Area activities include fishing, hunting, camping, dining, antiques, resorts, crafts, golfing, cross-country skiing, and snowmobiling with direct access to the Minnesota Trail System.
