About
The Crosslake Area Historical Society maintains an historic log village, which includes eight buildings, each equipped with a listening system to provide information on the displays and the history it uncovers. Most of the eight buildings were past homesteads of some of the first pioneers of the Crosslake Area. The other sites consist of a saloon, a schoolhouse, a tourist cabin, a livery, a town hall, and a Crosslake store. All eight sites focus on the pioneer life in Crosslake County during the late 1800s to early 1900s by displaying antique furnishings and other daily used tools.
