The streets of Victorian England come to life as Oliver, a malnourished orphan in a workhouse, becomes the neglected apprentice of an undertaker. Oliver escapes to London and finds acceptance amongst a group of petty thieves and pickpockets led by the elderly Fagin. Audiences will recognize the long string of familiar song titles including "Food, Glorious Food," "Consider Yourself," "Oom Pah Pah," "I'd Do Anything," and "Who Will Buy?" Auditions: January 12 at 7pm, 13 at 3pm April 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 Gaslight (Angel Street) This suspenseful drama in the Alfred Hitchcock genre, tells the story of the Manninghams, who live on Angel Street in 19th century London. All appears to be the essence of Victorian tranquility. It is soon apparent, however, that Mr. Manningham is slowly driving his gentle, devoted wife, Bella, to the brink of insanity with an insinuating kindness that masks more sinister motives. It is from this story that the term "gaslighting" entered our vocabulary.
