About
We are a group of single adults (divorced/widowed/separated/never married) who are based in Brainerd, Minnesota, and include members from all over the lakes area. We gather to socialize in a friendly and safe environment. Our approximately 100 members are age 40+, with the average age in the 50s. We gather for many different activities which include house parties/potlucks, movies, cards, walking, picnics, swimming, boating, biking, hiking, camping, tubing, canoeing/kayaking, concerts and plays and dancing,
We are primarily a social group. Some of our members are mainly interest in socializing and participating in activities with other singles, but dating is acceptable and based upon mutual consent. Although most people attend events as singles, several attend with a date,either from within the group or outside the group. Several long-term relationships have resulted from friendships that originated at our activities.
