Shriners Hospitals for Children® — Chicago provides speciality pediatric care to children up to age 18 with orthopaedic issues related to cerebral palsy and other orthopaedic conditions such as club foot, scoliosis and a variety of rare diseases. We also treat spinal cord injuries in kids and offer plastic surgery including craniofacial, cleft lip and cleft palate, and pediatric rehabilitation in a friendly, family-centred environment. Any child up to age 18, within the scope of care of the hospital, is eligible for treatment. Every surgical admission, procedure, rehabilitation and clinic visit is provided regardless of the patient or family's ability to pay. The list of accepted insurance providers continues to grow and includes Medicaid. We are part of a network of 22 care facilities located in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
