About

Mann Theatres was founded by Marvin and Ted Mann in 1935. In 1970, Marvin Mann expanded the operation when he purchased the Highland and Grandview theaters in St. Paul. Marvin's sons Stephen and Benjie, became involved in the early 1970's. After working with and becoming partners with their father after 24 years, Marvin passed away in 1994 shortly before the opening of their Eagan location, which was dedicated in his memory. Since that time, Mann Theatres has opened multiple locations including Hopkins, St. Louis Park, Brainerd, Plymouth, Grand Rapids, Hibbing and Champlin. Mann Theatres currently operates 7 locations, with a combined total of 61 screens. Mann Theatres completed it's digital rollout with all theatres having digital cinema including digital 3D at several locations and our XDX theatre with Dolby Atmos sound at Plymouth Grand 15 and Champlin 14. There are many options out there to enjoy movies. We at Mann Theatres thank you for choosing us!
