As a buyer or seller today, you have more real estate data and information at your fingertips than ever before. You can research, find homes online and get a pretty good idea of what you’re looking for before you ever meet an agent.
At Edina Realty, we believe that an informed buyer or seller is an empowered one. We offer as much information online as possible, and our agents can fill in the gaps that data can’t provide by offering insights you can use throughout the home buying or selling process in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
We also believe incorporating diverse viewpoints and backgrounds builds stronger communities. We are dedicated to the inclusion of all individuals and perspectives in our planning, our thinking and in our interactions with each other and our communities. Our diversity and inclusion team of agents, staff and leadership guide our efforts to facilitate agent and employee education opportunities, identify community needs, participate in and sponsor community events, and find new ways to reach underserved areas within the Minnesota and western Wisconsin housing market. As part of this initiative, we have partnered with the University of Minnesota and other community stakeholders through the Just Deeds Project to remove discriminatory covenants from titles that have historically disadvantaged people of color. Our founder, Emma Rovick, said she never wanted to cross the street to avoid a past client. More than 60 years later, this is how we still do business.
Since 1995, the Edina Realty Real Estate Riders have raised nearly $3 million for the Minnesota Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society to help those fighting Multiple Sclerosis by cycling the MS150 – an annual two-day 150 mile route from Duluth to the Twin Cities. The Real Estate Riders have been inducted into MS’s “Circle of Distinction” honoring top fundraising teams.
The Edina Realty Foundation was founded in 1996 to support and improve the lives of the homes in the communities we serve. The Edina Realty Foundation offers financial support to non-profit organizations that provide food, emergency shelter, medical care, job readiness training and more to the homeless across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
